We are pleased to announce that Heal Venture Lab has now partnered with Health Cube Medical Clinics Health Cube HR. This strategic collaboration aims to leverage our combined expertise to help medical startups find affordable options for their pilot studies and early trials, and also to promote medical innovation in the Philippines.
Philippines could be a low cost destination for medtech startups who need pilot studies for prototyping their devices or treatments, which may take longer and/or more expensive in other jurisdictions. We would like to test out this thesis in the Philippines with partners like Health Cube, where we can minimize bureaucratic and regulatory burdens and help founders get what they want, easy to go to site for early stage pilot studies and trials.
We also believe that this can help generate more business for the region and markets with more mature biomedical infrastructure can get the inbound business from the Philippines for more complex or later stage studies.
